We got to the Male Airport and our flight was delayed so we took a ferry for 3$ over to the city of Male in the rain at the dead of night. Faz stopped by the fishmarket to pick up some Maldivian fish for his mother, this is him wheeling and dealing.
The half of the resort with the Water Bungalows was amazing, the other half, not so much, i’ll spare you the pictures, but the views as you walked around the Island were still good no matter what, just don’t stay here and get a beach bungalow.
The capital city of the Maldives is Male, which is it’s own Island of about 6,000 kilometers inhabiting 100,000 people.
The Maldive’s airport is similar to the small airports in the Caribbean or in Hawaii, the only difference is that the airport is on an island of it’s own and to get anywhere else you need to take a boat!
The Maldives is a group of islands south of India and East of Africa. Flying into the Maldives was an incredible experience, I tried to capture it via photos but none really do it justice.
