This is the entrance to the building that houses the Emerald Buddha. No pictures are aloud of the Buddha itself, but the building that houses it I found just as interesting as the Buddha itself.
This is one of two “gaurds” that are at the entranceway to the Emerald Buddha building.
This is not the emerald buddha, but just a buddha on one of the corners of the building.
The detail on the building is fantastic.
If you don’t know about Rambutans, you should. These fruit look spikey or furry on the outside, but when you crack them open it’s like a large white grape with a core like a plum. They are really tasty. I first tried them in Sri Lanka, apparently they aren’t in season all that often.
