One of the first stops we made when we got to Kuala Lumpur was the Batu Caves. More impressive than the caves themselves was the Hindu statue of Murugan standing at 140 feet high.
To say that visiting the pyramids was amazing is an understatement. It’s inspiring to think how many years ago these were constructed and with the technology that existed back then. It’s cool to see the progression in design and quality from the construction of the first pyramid to the last.
Apparently it’s a big hit to pretend like your pushing, kicking, licking, flicking, or whatever other actions you choose to perform on the pyramids.
This is the largest and most famous Sphinx which rests right near the Pyramids. It holds the title has the largest and oldest monolith statue in the world and it was constructed around 2500 BC!
Donkeys seem to be a preferred method of transportation in the outskirts of Cairo. I think this kid rode his right into the store.
